Brooke and Andy come to visit

They say time flies when you're having fun. Well, that has certainly been the case for us this first half of June. This was our month to spend with family as Brooke (Terry's oldest daughter) and her boyfriend, Andy, came out to visit us in Phoenix and we all went to Wisconsin for vacation the following week. The time definitely went by too fast.

Brooke and Andy arrived in Phoenix June 5th, which was my birthday, so we headed out for a birthday dinner at Olive Garden when they got here. Later in the evening back home, we also enjoyed birthday cake (not sure why we didn't think to take pictures).

I'm not sure if Talon remembered Brooke from her last visit, but he didn't hesitate to go to her shortly after they arrived. It took Talon a little longer to warm up to Andy, but that was taken care of after Talon went to the pool the next day with Brooke and Andy and without mommy or daddy to hang on to. Talon and Andy were friends since, and they played together the rest of the week. Talon even learned some of his ABC puzzle (the one without pictures to match up) after he and Andy had played with puzzles over the week.

Over the weekend, Terry took Brooke and Andy to the Grand Canyon and stopped to play in Sedona on their drive back home the next day.
